FAN
GmbH - Research Institute for Applied Neurosciences
was founded in 1996 in order to serve the increasing demand of target
identification and drug screening. FAN is an European preclinical and
clinical contract research organization. It focuses on central nervous system
drug target discovery, especially in the fields of stroke, Alzheimer's disease
and brain stem cells. FAN and its local partners of the Magdeburg neuroscience centre assist
pharmaceutical and biotech companies in selecting appropriate and modern test
models.

This
company's internationally renowned expertise in the fields of neuroplasticity,
neuroprotection, and neurorepair is offered to life science companies to set up
faster and more flexible discovery programmes for future markets. Costumers can
choose from a wide range of individual services, including long-term cooperation
in R&D projects. FAN GmbH maintains the very highest
standards throughout every stage of a study, from initial advice as to
which tests are required, through study design and conduct to the
production of final reports. Our services are offered under several
flexible arrangements. Direct contact between sponsors and FAN GmbH project co-ordinators
ensures fast exchange of information. FAN GmbH recognises the central
importance of confidentiality and reliability.
