By car:    >public transport

Coming from Berlin: Use Autobahn A2 until departure Magdeburg-Zentrum. Follow the main city highway until departure Reform/Kirschweg (appr.15 km). Turn right, cross the first crossing/lights and turn left 200 m immediately after a pedestrian lights into very tiny Lilienweg. At  its end turn left into Brenneckestreet and after 20 meters turn right into the yard of the Leibniz Institute (yellow building). FAN is in the ZENIT behind it.

Coming from Hannover: Use the Autobahn A2, turn to right onto A14 (direction to Halle) until departure Wanzleben / Magdeburg Zentrum. In the roundabout take second exit  to Magdeburg and follow straight until the second light. Turn left onto the Halberstädter Chaussee. After appr. 3 km turn right (just before the ARAL gasoline station) into the Brenneckestreet. Cross the next lights and see after 600 meters  the  Leibniz Institute and the FAN/ZENIT behind it.

By public transport:   <car 

You can reach Magdeburg through the following airports: Berlin, Hannover, Halle-Leipzig or Frankfurt/Main. Than use a fast train (IC or ICE) or normal train (RE, RB), which brings you to Magdeburg in 2-4 hours. The shortest connection from Berlin is an InterRegio (IR) train, which takes 1 hour 18 min and leaves from station Zoological Garden appr. every 2 hours. The city is located at the railway track Hannover / Braunschweig - Berlin. Please consider that not all trains from Berlin or Hannover/Braunschweig use the track through Magdeburg! Find your connection by the internet server of the Deutsche Bahn.

From the main railway station take tram 3 to 'Universitätsklinik' or 'Brenneckstreet'.  and walk 10 min to the ZENIT building. Alternatively take a taxi, which  costs max. 20 DM.
